Schweppes founder, Jacob Schweppe was a jeweller and scientist with a thirst for curiosity. In 1783 he invented the first ever process of capturing and bottling bubbles, and from this carbonation system, Schweppes Soda Water was born – the world’s first soft drink. Thanks to Jacob, the world has been enjoying the taste of Schweppes for over 200 years.
Schweppes Signature range is the next evolution in the Schweppes story and their long standing links with the world of gin. The new signature range of mixers are Schweppes’s Premium, all-natural range that have been carefully crafted using two centuries of knowledge and experience producing tonics and mixers that work in harmony with a range of spirits.
“Scotland is synonymous for its incredible whisky, but there’s also an amazing variety of incredible gin producers. It’s a pleasure to be celebrating International Scottish Gin Day with Schweppes for a perfect G&T.”
Gaz Jones, UK Spirit Brand Engagement Ambassador, Schweppes
