Ross and Alyson are giving us a rare glimpse into the distillery where their range of Scottish Gins are made. Not only will we see the still room where the products are distilled but we’ll be treated us to some Linlithgow gin and cocktail serves. This online event is a first for the distillery team so we’re honoured that they chose ISGD to share this distillery space with their audience and tell us a bit more about the Linlithgow Gin story.
Date & Time: 24.10.20, 5pm
Cost: Free
Linlithgow Distillery is owned and operated by Ross and Alyson Jamieson. With premises secured in 2017, the couple set to work renovating their new distillery space before taking delivery of their gin still, affectionately named ‘Gleann Iucha’ which is Scots Gaelic for Linlithgow. Linlithgow Distillery use a mix of local handpicked botanicals from around the loch, canal and meadows of Linlithgow. In particular, the meadowsweet that grows in abundance along the Union canal, combined with traditional botanicals including juniper, coriander and cassia amongst others, gives their London Dry style of gin a truly unique flavour with spicy and citrus notes.
