GlenWyvis Distillery pays homage to the lost distillery names Ben Wyvis and Glenskiach. Founder John Henderson came up with the idea after retiring from the armed forces in 2002 to become a commercial helicopter pilot. It was on one of these flights he had the idea of creating his own distillery that could produce whisky and gin.
The distillery is a truly unique and community-owned business with over 3,200 shareholders from all over the world. Based on the outskirts of Dingwall in Ross-shire, an area that has rich, historic links with distilling, GlenWyvis Distillery is completely self-sufficient and wisely utilises the ever changing weather to create green energy for the distillery.
GlenWyvis' flagship gin has been rebranded and relaunched with a new name, bottle and packaging. GlenWyvis GoodWill Gin is made using 9 different botanicals, which include locally picked hawthorn berries. It has a crisp full-bodied taste with distinct hints of citrus coming through, along with spices at the back of the palate.
