International Scottish Gin Day (ISGD) was established in 2018 and launched in 2019 by the co-founders of The Gin Cooperative, Martin and Natalie Reid. International Scottish Gin Day is a day for Scotland’s Gin makers, brand owners, bars, retailers, journalists, bloggers, and more to connect and showcase Scottish Gin.
Based in rural Aberdeenshire, Scotland, The Gin Cooperative actively promotes the world of Scottish Gin, working with Scottish Gin makers, brand owners and international partners to promote Scottish Gin and Scotland. The Gin Cooperative are also responsible for ScottishGin.com, the specialist online Scottish Gin shop and The Gin Cooperative Awards.
International Scottish Gin has continued to grow year on year as more consumers and businesses seek out Scottish Gin. We wanted to create a day that provided the Scottish Gin industry with a dedicated day that could create opportunities for collaborations with bars, retailers, and other businesses, generate footfall, and get people talking about Scottish Gin.
