Loch Lomond Group is an independent distiller and blender of some of the finest and rarest whiskies in the world. The group currently operates the Glen Scotia distillery in Argyll, Loch Lomond distillery in Dunbartonshire and the Glen Catrine bonded warehouse and bottling facility in Ayrshire.
With a rich and premium portfolio of spirits, the group set out to create their own gin that captures the imagination and spirit of Scotland. Ben Lomond Gin has been inspired by the majesty and beauty of Ben Lomond and the extensive natural flora within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs. The brand have partnered with The Glasgow Distillery Co. initially while they build their own distillery.
Taking its namesake from the iconic Scottish mountain, Ben Lomond, Ben Lomond Gin is a traditional London Dry style gin. Distilled using a mix of 11 botanicals including angelica root, rose petals, liquorice, and handpicked blackcurrants plus locally foraged rowan berries. Blended beautifully this gin is vibrant and crisp and offers a smooth, fresh flavour, which finishes with a delicate berry sweetness. Loch Lomond Group also entered a partnership with conservation charity the John Muir Trust, which will plant 50,000 native trees, including rowan, across regions of Scotland.
