Tobermory Distillery

Find your perfect gin

Situated on the Hebridean island of Mull in the coastal fishing town of Tobermory, the Tobermory Distillery, originally called the Ledaig Distillery, was established in 1798. The seafront and harbour is famous for its rainbow coloured row of houses and shops that overlook the Sound of Mull, the expanse of water between the east side of the island and mainland Scotland.

The distillery was brought under new ownership in 2013 and retains many of its original features and continues to produce a variety of single malt whiskies. Although a whisky distillery at its heart, in March 2019, the distillery launched its first Scottish Gin, Tobermory Hebridean Gin.

Tobermory Hebridean Gin

Tobermory Hebridean Gin

Tobermory Hebridean Gin not only combines a carefully selected number of botanicals, it also includes a splash of the spirit from Tobermory whisky stills to create a unique character. Distilled using juniper, tea, heather, elderflower and sweet orange peel to create a flavour profile that has a slight hint of maltiness on the nose, fresh juniper and balanced sweet citrus from the orange and lemon and subtle herbs and spices. The gin has a luxurious and creamy mouth-feel with a balanced and subtle hint of sweet malt and a finish that lingers with fresh citrus.
