Dan Eats follows Dan’s adventures in food and drink around London and further afield! From distillery visits and chats with the distillers themselves, to restaurant pop-ups, and foodie tips from travels around the world, Dan documents the tastiest things that he’s enjoyed and the stories behind them.
Dan loves exploring different botanical combinations and discovering the great creations that new distilleries come up with. He enjoys hearing how passionate people with ideas can transform them into delicious products that really showcase the areas they’re from. Dan’s gin shelf currently features a number of Scottish gins from The Botanist, which he first tried on the Isle of Mull, to Strathearn Distillery and Eden Mill, sitting proudly alongside gins from near his home in South West London, to gins from as far afield as Australia and New Zealand.
Photography plays a big part in how Dan shares this with his readers and followers so when he’s not writing about gins, he’s almost definitely taking photos of beautiful bottles or snapping away at events.
“Scottish gin is in such an exciting place right now and it’s vital that we support and highlight the incredible new and established gins from across the country and the stories they tell.”
