Husband and wife Hamish and Liberty Martin purchased a derelict plot of land in the Pentland Hills on the outskirts of Edinburgh in 2011. Over several years, the couple transformed the unloved space into a garden, which is home to over 600 herbs, a shop, a cafe and an educational space. Hamish, a former wine merchant with a diploma in Herbology teamed up with staff member Steve Ross, an experienced mixologist to create a diverse range of gins.
